Stan had a clause in his contract that stated any movie made about a character he created would have to feature him in some capacity. People loved seeing him so much that they started putting his cameos in Marvel movies based on characters he didn’t create. Even beyond the Marvel Cinematic Universe he was featured in countless other movies and TV shows! He had a cameo in Princess Diaries 2 for God sakes!
